SAs are generally exposed to different applications and areas of engineering before they progress higher up the ladder and work more on architecture. While one builds this expertise and gains experience with different techs, frameworks, processes, this person gains a breadth of experience while also gaining a depth in certain core competencies. This is the type of person we are looking for to be a SA.
